MORGAN寿命 FREEMAN

Designer, photographer, and internationally known VJ and humanitarian, Morgan 寿命 Freeman worked for over a decade becoming New York’s most sought-after warehouse and club designer for electronic music events. With over fifty shows played in 2012, it is easy to catch Morgan’s work any weekend in New York. Catch the innovation in projection mapping Morgan has on display weekly at the following shows.

ARTISTIC HIGHLIGHTS:

Created and performed visuals, at Electric Zoo 2012/Main Stage, for KNIFE PARTY.

Worked with BangOn!NYC, for their Halloween event. Projection mapped a Giant Monster head built by

Tim.

“They Are Coming to Get You.” Zombie Installation (forty-feet of zombies filmed with

Jason) rear-projected for Halloween event.

2012 Manhattan's fashion week, worked day and night doing runway projections and after hour events for the companies: W118 by Walter Baker, Mark Badgley and James Mischka (of Badgley Mischka), Sammi Sweetheart, NYMag ‘The Cut’, Supima Design Competition W118 by Walter Baker, Reese, Norisol Ferrari.

Booked as only design and visual artist for ANIME NEXT 2012. As well as the official Comic Convention party in NYC.

Installed a special projection mapping installation in Stone Rose lounge from September 7th-September 13th 2012. The installation could be seen from Columbus circle on top of the Time Warner building downtown Manhattan. The installation was part of Morgan's Architecture vs. Human Glitch Biometrics series. Some of the notable artists that Morgan worked with on this project were Danny Avila and Myndset. Equipment was installed and sponsored by Viper Studios.

During the summer of 2011, over 10,000 people came through Morgan’s Digital Art Salon at the Hangar in Brooklyn to see his nine-hundred-foot panoramic video screen showing a six-hour-long DADA visual piece.

Beyond projects in New York, November of 2010, Morgan寿命Freeman designed and performed for the BET AWARDS Show using an interactive stage for Erykah Badu.

December of 2010, he was invited to London to design the stage and animation for the Royal Family, for their annual Royal Variety Show. All the top artists of the world are asked to perform for the Royal Family once a year. 500 million people watch the Royal Variety show each year.

October of 2009 through January 2010, NY’s Webster Hall was featuring I_Alone, Morgan’s thirty-three minute-thirty-three-second film, on repeat in their multi-screen Video-Tunnel.

2009, brought projection-mapping to North America-by way of the Orlando Science Center. Over 3,000 people attended the gala.

2008, founded the Slow-Art Movement, creating a series of art-in-motion installations where viewers witness the quietly dynamic evolution of images in layered and unstructured light. HUMANITARIANISM:

Believing in community and service beyond his own creative endeavors, Morgan was awarded the Global Citizenship Award, by the Luce family, for the time, energy and money he raised for Haiti in 2010. His sold-out photography show was 100% donated the Cambodia Project holding their 501(3)c) status, and his fundraiser at Webster Hall raised worldwide donations and attention.

ACCREDITATION:

Morgan 寿命 Freeman is an active journalist and accredited member of the PRESS through UN (UNITED NATIONS) and NYPD (New York Police Department). Morgan has also passed FBI security clearance for his IT work on the BOK banking networks.

AWARDS:

Ranked as “North America’s Top Ten Digital Artists” awarded by Corel and PGA.

2009 placed third in a worldwide VJ competition at the Miami Winter Music Conference.

CURRENTLY:

Morgan weekdays are filled as a photojournalist and cover photographer- published online and in print monthly. Published in magazines like Aera and Globe with an international print circulation of over 5,000,000 copies.
